Gear Review: Black Mamba 1-3 11ft Surf Pole

I have a great opportunity to test out a new product on the market.  I'm honored, and will do my best to give anyone reading this an HONEST OPINION.....

The Rod is designed and built by Torqued Soluitions; which is the same group that introduced the Team Alabama rod last year.  I acquired a Team Alabama rod last year, and have been using it since.  The New rod from Torqued Solutions, is called the BLACK MAMBA, and if it's anywhere near the same quality as it's Big Brother it will be a welcome addition to saltwater fishing.

Upcoming test:

Spring Run (Striped Bass):  I will use this rod as a 3nbait rod, fishing the Bay, and Rivers with small bait like Bloodworms.

Croaker Run:  For me this rod will have to earn it's keep doing exactly what we will be done on this test.. In this test the rod will more than likely be set up with a Double Dropper Rig and be baited with Either Bloodworms or Shrimp.

Blue Fish Chasing:  This will be a test to see how it does throwing lures at places like IRI (Indian River Inlet), Ocean City Inlet or Roosevelt Inlet...  I am very found of 1-2oz Kroc Spoons, and will try to target blues at distances over 75yards..

To be continue....
